Wheat prices were higher on the local grain market on Tuesday in the process of slow trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Wheat Mexipak old registered higher at Rs 1175, the new type followed suit and gained sharply Rs 75 at Rs 1185. Slight improvement in the supply position eased the prices of the cottonseed oilcake on the seeds side at Rs 450-455, dealers said and that other items maintained their overnight levels amid modest trading.
