Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 97,273 tonnes of cargo including 86,795 tonnes import and 10,748 tonnes export cargo inclusive of 579 containers, during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 44,173 tonnes dry cargo including 16,671 tonnes general cargo, 27,502 tonnes bulk cargo and 53,100 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Four ships sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels are currently at the berths.
Four ships expected to sail on Tuesday, while six vessels are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Five vessels due to arrive on Tuesday, while fourteen ships are due to arrive on Wednesday.

The cargo comprised of 3,022 tonnes chemicals; 2,615 tonnes edible oil; 43,020 tonnes diesel oil; 15,090 tonnes wheat and 30,549 tonnes containerised cargo.
Five ships namely MT Moku Paho, Warbah, Anette Kosan, Maersk Alaska and Chemrose expected to sail on Tuesday.
A total of two vessels viz Rain Kiss and Nicopolis are currently at the outer anchorage.
MT Nicopolis due to take berth on Tuesday.
Three vessels viz Sonali, MT gemini and MV E.Trader with edible, jute and iron ore due to arrive on Tuesday, while four more ships namely MT Sinar Sabang, Tirta Niaga-I, Contship Indigo and Orange with containers, chemicals and edible oil are due to arrive on Wednesday.
