: Bulls returned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire ready-board in upward direction amid increase in index. ISE network index showed an increase of 96.96 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 14,938.48 to 15,035.44 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 5,570,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 14,938.48 shares. A total of 137 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (73) closed in positive territory, 62 showed negative signs, while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 2,537,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 2,120,800 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 2,352,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,248,500 shares. The volume of PSO was 391,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 349,400 shares.
