Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Ehsan ul Haq, Vice Chief of Army Staff General Ahsan Saleem Hyat, Air Marshal Tanvir Mehmood, Vice Chief of Air Staff and a large number of other senior officers of the armed forces on Tuesday visited the National Defence College. They attended briefing session of the on-going exercise Maarka-e-Baqa, which marks the climax of learning process by members of national defence and armed forces war courses.
The Services Chiefs of opposing sides presented the respective services strategies and plans.
The aim of the exercise is to practice the members in formulation of national security strategy levels. The exercise has been set in foreseeable geo- political environment.
The visiting dignitaries appreciated efforts of participants of the national defence and armed forces war courses, as well as members of the Directing Staff for the excellent presentations they made on the operational strategies.
