Punjab University vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood distributed certificates among participants of a short course in 'Communication Skills Development' at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Arshad said professional knowledge adds up to personality of students and such short courses enable them to put theatrical knowledge into practice. Better communication skills play an important role in expressing our point of view as these provide a man the required confidence to communicate his message, he added.
Without quality of communication, knowledge has no value, he said. He asked other departments to arrange such courses for students. He announced Rs 100,000 grant for the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
