The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has announced the results of first professional MBBS Part-II Annual Examination 2004 held in December 2004, showing pass percentage of 68.06. According to a notification, as many as 1380 students of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Rawalpindi Medical College, Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad, Nishtar Medical College, Multan, Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur, Lahore Medical and Dental College, Lahore, Fatima Memorial Hospital College, Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Lahore and Shaikh Zayed Medical College Rahim Yar Khan appeared in the examination. Out of the total candidates, 944 candidates were declared successful.
All the three top positions went to Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi. Hina Hafeez Abbasi secured 469/600 marks and was placed at first position, while Sara Ijaz Gillani and Sarosh Mukhtar stood second and third positions by obtaining 464 and 460 marks, respectively.
