Three Iraqi police were killed and seven wounded in a bomb blast in the tense northern oil centre of Kirkuk Saturday as they buried a colleague killed the previous day, the city's police chief said. In another report, an unknown group said it had kidnapped two Egyptian engineers in Iraq and issued a video it said showed the hostages, according to an Internet posting on Saturday.
The video, whose authenticity could not be verified, showed two men identifying themselves as Nabil Tawfiq Sulaiman and Mitwali Mohammed Qassem as they held identification cards from the Iraqi Machinery and Equipment Services Co.
