Siemens Pakistan was awarded the "Strategic Leadership Award" at an impressive ceremony in Islamabad. The award has been instituted by Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Islamabad and Commonwealth of Learning Vancouver Canada. The objective of the award is to recognise and promote best practices in the area of corporate strategy. Siemens Pakistan was adjudged the winner based on detailed due diligence on performance of the company.
Organised under the patronage of Sir John Daniel, former assistant director general Unesco and President, Commonwealth of Learning Canada, this award will lead to a high profile study on Siemens Pakistan for the benefit of academia in Pakistan and abroad.
The chief guest for the occasion was Jehangir Ashraf Qazi, Federal Minister for Education and the award was received on behalf of Siemens Pakistan by the Chief Financial Officer Gerhard Wilcke.-PR
