The US Ambassador Ryan C. Crocker on Tuesday said that America has apprised the Indian and Pakistan governments about its reservations over gas-pipe line project from Iran to India via Pakistan. Talking to newsmen during his visit at NetSol IT Village here, Crocker said that the US is interested in economic development of Pakistan and enhancing trade relations with it. The American investors have invested over US $240 million during the last year and would continue to bring further investment in Pakistan, he added.
Praising NetSol's IT Village, he said that the US Company invested US $10 million in NetSol, which would help create job opportunities for the dynamic Pakistanis, he maintained.
Responding to a question regarding provision of F-16 to India, he said that the US government has already conveyed its reservations to both India and Pakistan. About the World Bank grant of US $200 million for Tuansa Barrage, he said the US government always supports Pakistan's cause at the Bank's forum.
