Indian scientists to attend UAF moot

An 18-member delegation of Indian scientists will attend the 54th Alumni Association moot of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) being held here on March 28-29. According to a press statement of UAF, Himachal Pradesh Governor Shri V S Kokje will lead the Indian delegation and attend the moot as chief guest. Pakistani Punjab Governor Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) will preside over the meeting.
The meeting will be attended, among others, by Dr Kirpal Sing Aulakh vice-chancellor Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana, Mandhir Kumar Miglani vice-chancellor Haryana Agriculture University, Dr Sardara Singh Johl vice-chairman Punjab State Planning Board, and Dr Jagmohan Singh Chauhan vice-chancellor Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University Palampur. A seminar on 'Agriculture in Pakistan' will also be held on the occasion.
