Jimmy artwork on display in US

Pakistani Embassy in Washington DC has arranged a special function in connection with the Pakistan Day celebrations in honour of visiting Pakistani artist and social worker, Jimmy Engineer. The Embassy in its premises has displayed the prints of artwork and other social work related activities of Karachi-based Jimmy Engineer, who is currently visiting the United States.
According to a message received here from the US, the prints of Jimmy Engineer's artwork include his famous series of paintings about struggle and sacrifices offered by millions of men, women and children for the creation of Pakistan under the inspiring leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The display of prints of Jimmy Engineer's art work and social welfare activities started on March 20 and will continue till March 25.
After the US visit, Jimmy plans to travel to Britain, Italy, France, Holland, Belgium, Spain and other European countries with sole objective of creating a better image of the Motherland and understanding of the Pakistani people in the countries around the globe.-PR
