Prime Minister takes note of inflated gas billing

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has taken serious note of the increased billings by gas supplying companies to consumers, said Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmed. Talking to media-persons after visiting the free medical camp for Pollen Allergy sufferers here on Thursday, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in response to a question said, the Prime Minister has constituted a committee to probe into public complaints for issuing increased gas bills than actual.
Answering a question regarding decision to take strict action against those who try to take law into their hands by forcing the people to respond to their strike call of April 2, he said, the government will make every effort to maintain writ of the law and whosoever takes the law in hand, would be booked under the Anti-Terrorist Act for disturbing law and order.
