The Reko Diq copper project that has been declared as an EPZ is being managed by the Tethyan Copper Company Limited, Australian (TCC) and not by BHP.
TCC took over this project from BHP under an alliance agreement in the year 2000 and since then TCC has been aggressively carrying out exploration work on this project. Currently, TCC is undertaking a feasibility study for this project which will be completed by the third quarter of this year. BHP has no relation with this project in the EPZ.
