Chairman Wapda Tariq Hameed has said that Wapda in addition to its chartered duties will continue to work for the promotion of sports and similar other activities. He was addressing a ceremony held in honour of Wapda cricket team that bagged Patron's Cup one-day title last week. Pakistan cricket team member Rana Naveed-ul-Hassan also attended the function. Tariq said that Wapda contribution in the development of sports can be gauged through the fact that maximum titles in sporting events at the national level rests with Wapda.
He lauded performance of the cricketers in Patron's Cup finals.
