Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz reviewed the economic situation and meeting of the Pakistan Development Forum. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr Salman Shah, Minister of State for Finance Umar Ayub, State Sank of Pakistan Governor Dr Ishrat Husain, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Chairman Tariq Hassan and other senior officials were present during the meeting.
The meeting discussed the overall economic situation and reviewed the performance of the SBP and SECP.
The prime minister appreciated the performance and role played by the SBP and SECP in implementing reforms carried out by the government.
