Just a few changes noted in grain, seeds prices

Slight variations were marked in certain commodities while most others showed no change during the week ended on April 23, 2005 traders said. The commodities underwent variations were gur, Irri, Bajra and barley, raw rubber, Kirana items and plastic mouldings. As the week opened gur inferior was up Rs 100 to Rs 2100, while the other type was up Rs 125 to Rs 2650, Khandsari was gainer by Rs 50 to Rs 3000, while inferior type stayed put, Irri white better type lost Rs 10 to Rs 1140, and inferior type shed Rs 20 to Rs 2750.
On Tuesday plastic moulding were mixed such as HDPE film Saudia 952 down 25 paisa to Rs 39, Mobil down 25 paisa to Rs 39, TR144 down 25 paisa to Rs 38.50, LDPE 374 down Re 1 to Rs 47, MG20 down Re 1 to Rs 50, MG 70 down Re 1 to Rs 51, LLDPE W118 down 50 paisa to Rs 39.50, 7087 down 50 paisa to Rs 39.50, polypropylene India up 25 paisa to Rs 39.25, Kuwait up 25 paisa to Rs 39.25, Saudia up 25 paisa to Rs 39.25, propylene injection grade Saudia up 75 paisa to Rs 40, India up 75 paisa to Rs 40, Kuwait up 75 paisa to Rs 40, polystyrene BASF down Rs 200 to Rs 3500.
Bajra posted gains of Rs 50 to Rs 1650/1750, barley Sindh Mardan both were quoted higher at Rs 1200, cotton cakes drifted lower, lost Rs 5 to Rs 450/460.
On Wednesday only variation was in rapeseed new inferior which was up Rs 50 to Rs 1650 and better up Rs 25 to Rs 1775, raw rubber Ceylon RSSV up Rs 5 to Rs 48.50, Pale Crape TPC 3 down Rs 2 to Rs 53, latex Semnan Tex up Rs 5 to Rs 350 and Thai (G.T.) up Rs 5 to Rs 350.
On Thursday guwar lost Rs 25 to Rs 1800/1900, and Irri white shed Rs 20 to Rs 1100/1120, big cardamom down Rs 50 to Rs 7250, Sago up Rs 40 to Rs 1340, Darchini down Rs 200 to Rs 2600, and tamarind down Rs 10 to Rs 950, dry fruits almond Irani down Rs 400 to Rs 21600, and Chilghoza roasted shed Rs 2500 to Rs 28500. Friday's session was closed.
