Chairman All Pakistan Motor Dealers Association (APMDA) H.M.Shahzad has urged the President and the Prime Minister to direct Dewan Farooque Motors Ltd, to take back recent increase in its vehicle prices. In a press release, he noted that Japan has reduced its CKD kits prices considerably but the local assemblers instead of reducing vehicle prices are increasing them. He pointed out that the government is pressing them to reduce car prices but they pay no attention to it.
Shahzad said that Dewan Farooque Motors Ltd has increased prices of Hyundai Shehzore pickup from Rs 599,000 to Rs 649,000 , Sentro Executive car from Rs 599,000 to Rs 639,000, Sentro GV from Rs 5,79,000 to Rs 609,000 , Sentro Club from Rs 5,29,000 to Rs 559,000.
He claimed that all models of Sentro cars and Shehzore pickups are being sold in black market.-PR
