Indian election commissioner arrives today

T.S Krishna Murthy, Chief Election commissioner of India is arriving in Pakistan on Friday on a four-day visit to exchange views on electoral management with his Pakistani counterpart. Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan said Thursday. Indian Chief Election Commissioner is visiting Pakistan from April 29 to May 2 on the invitation of Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, to exchange views on electoral management.
The bilateral visit, he said would help foster goodwill and provide an opportunity to share each other's electoral experiences and expertise in the field of electoral management through informal interaction.
The Indian Election Commissioner will also call on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on April 30. Punjab Chief Minister will host a lunch in honour of the visiting guest.
