The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) will take a decision soon to visit Pakistan, the daily Kashmir Times published from Jammu said in a report on Thursday. The report on the newspaper's website quoted senior APHC leader Professor Abdul Ghani Bhat as saying a meeting of the grouping would be held in a couple of days to decide when to undertake the visit to Pakistan. He said he was not sure whether a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh would take place before or after the APHC visit to Pakistan. The meeting of the executive council of the organisation will take decisions after reviewing the whole situation, he added.
"We want meetings with the governments of both the countries now and in future as well", he said.
When the APHC leaders met President General Pervez Musharraf during his April 16-18 visit to New Delhi they were invited to visit Pakistan and they accepted the invitation.
APHC leaders have been mulling a visit to Pakistan since a peace process between the two South Asian neighbours began early last year.
