Two notorious dacoits, Akram alias Akku Athwal and Saif Athwal, were killed in a police encounter, which continued two hours near 584-GB, in Lundianwala police station area, while their three accomplices managed to escape here on Saturday morning. Police sources said that both dacoits were involved in over 20 cases of murders, abductions, ransom, dacoities, robberies, etc.
