"The United States considers Pakistan as a strategic partner and holds her in high esteem for rendering valuable co-operation," said Stephen Hadley, National Security Advisor to President Bush. In a meeting with Ambassador Jehangir Karamat in his office here on Friday, Hadley said this friendship was mutually advantageous and broad-based. In the meeting, review of Pakistan-US relations was presented. Ambassador Jehangir Karamat also briefed the presidential advisor on latest developments on Pakistan-India relations, and New Delhi visit of President General Pervez Musharraf.
On the occasion, Mike Green, Senior Director and Special Assistant to President Bush at NSC White House, Deputy Chief of the Mission (DCM) Pakistan Embassy Mohammad Sadiq and Political Secretary Mohammad Aslam Khan were also present.
