Probe ordered in Sonia Naz case

DIG, Faisalabad Range, Sajjad Ahmad, taking suo-motu action on the interview of Sonia Naz, wife of Asif Yousaf, Clerk of Excise & Taxation Office, Faisalabad, appearing in press on Saturday, has set up an investigation team headed by SP, Regional Investigation Branch, Muhammad Iqbal, to probe the matter. He has directed that the matter should be thoroughly investigated and a detailed report be submitted to him--within three days--so that future course of action could be adopted in the light of facts put forth in this respect. The investigating team has already started its work.
Sajjad said that his doors were always open for everybody including Sonia Naz for the provision of justice. He said if Sonia came forward with the proof, immediate action would be taken against the culprits.
Meanwhile, S P Investigation, Khalid Abdullah, in a written statement submitted to DPO Faisalabad said that Sonia's husband had neither been arrested nor did he know anything about him or some bribe having been taken.
