Pakistan supports sovereignty of Nepal

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Tuesday said Pakistan fully supports sovereignty and territorial integrity of Nepal and was opposed to interference in internal affairs of any other country. Talking to a delegation of civil servants from Nepal, he said Pakistan endorses the endeavours of the Nepalese government to meet its security challenges. He said Pakistan enjoys friendly relations with Nepal and shares common values on major international issues. The Prime Minister noted that the civil servants were the backbone of any government. He urged them to adapt themselves to the changing world environment and equip themselves with modern management techniques.
Shaukat Aziz asked them to work simultaneous1y on five essential ingredients of statecraft, economy, diplomacy, security governance and political process. He said Pakistan was sending its middle level civil servants to foreign universities and institutions so as to keep them abreast of the changes in public sector management.
