Raffles sign memorandum of understanding with BoP

Raffles Branded Systems has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bank of Punjab (BoP) here on Tuesday to launch its 'Hours PC Deal on Easy Instalments' to further strengthen its commitment to provide latest IT technology in the country. BoP Managing Director, Hamesh Khan signed the document on behalf of his organisation, while Raffles Branded Systems Director Operation, Ibrahim Qureshi inked on behalf of his company. Through the 'Hours PC Deal', Raffles will provide free computers to all Brain Net subscribes on the purchase of 100 hours per month, for 36 months.
In addition Brain Net will provide the customers with their other valuable features like BrainTel phone line, e-mail addresses with unlimited web hosting absolutely free of cost and some gifts. Bank of Punjab will provide the leasing facility to interested subscribers in this regard.
Ibrahim Qureshi, speaking on this occasion, said that it was the effort of their organisation to increase PC penetration in Pakistan, which according to a study at present stand at 1.2 per house hold. He said that there would be two options under which a P-IV computer would be available to the consumers at around Rs 2000 per month and a Celeron computer over Rs 1000 per month.
Managing Director BoP, Hamesh Khan, speaking on the occasion, said the leasing facility announced by the Bank of Punjab would certainly ease the purchase of 100 hours a month for a tenure of 36 months for subscribers and enable them to enjoy the benefit of this extraordinary scheme.
