06 May, 2005

Wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade were mostly firm early on Thursday in quiet consolidation trading, traders said. Traders said the wheat market was attempting to recover from a recent slide and a weak dollar on Thursday may be giving futures a bit of a lift. At 10:05 am CDT (1505 GMT), wheat was up 1 cent to down 1/4 cent. May was up 1/4 at $3.08-1/2 per bushel. July was up 1/4 at $3.17-1/2.
