Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 75,316 tonnes of cargo including 67,869 tonnes import and 7,447 tonnes export cargo including 618 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 27,176 tonnes dry cargo including 13,765 tonnes general cargo; 2,750 tonnes rice; 10,661 tonnes fertiliser and 48,140 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo. MV Orient Prosperity sailed out to sea during the report period. Four vessels viz MT Johar, Bunga Kenari, Binhtan and Passat are currently at the berths. Three ships namely Santa Maria, Passat and Bow Cheetah expected to sail on Monday, while two vessels viz Germana and MT Johar are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Seven vessels viz Shamrock Moon, Global Princess, Maersk Alaska, Ever Gather, Kota Merdesa, Cape Noli and Amstelgracht due to arrive on Monday, while four ships namely Lalazar, Apl Cairo, Nil and Kota Wangi are due to arrive on Tuesday.

The cargo comprised of 14,283 tonnes diesel oil; 8,083 tonnes coal; 3,866 tonnes fertiliser and 22,746 tonnes containerised cargo.
Container vessel Hotaka Maru and two oil tankers MT Olympic Pride and Al Maqwa sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
MV Uljanik is currently at the outer anchorage and due to take berth on Monday.
Five vessels viz SL Freedom, MSC deila, Anette Kosan, Min Noble and Pacific Senator with containers, chemicals and iron ore due to arrive on Monday, while two more ships namely MT Keefan and Sutra with HSD oil and chemicals are due to arrive on Tuesday.
