Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 76,579 tonnes of cargo including 48,810 tonnes import and 27,769 tonnes export cargo including 4,227 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday. The cargo comprised of 61,106 tonnes dry cargo including 46,462 tonnes general cargo; 1,896 tonnes rice; 245 tonnes cement; 12,503 tonnes fertiliser and 15,473 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo. Six ships namely Ever Gather, Global Princess, Germana, Amstelgracht, MT Johar and Shamrock Moon sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Apl Cairo, Maersk Alaska, Kota Wangi and Cape Noli are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely G. Elephant, Apl Cairo, Kota Wangi and Corinthiakos expected to sail on Wednesday.
Three vessels viz Bow Petros, Le He and Sagamore due to arrive on Wednesday, while two ships namely Golden Express and Panama Express are due to arrive on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 4,948 tonnes seeds; 2,523 tonnes chemicals; 14,740 tonnes coal; 3,527 tonnes fertiliser and 32,504 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two container vessels viz MSC Deila and SL Freedom, and a chemicals carrier Anette Kosan expected to sail on Wednesday.
Three ships namely CMA CGM Kingston, Sutra Tiga and Min Noble are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely Maersk Alaska, CMA CGM Kingston, Sutra Tiga and Fotini Lady due to take berths on Wednesday.
Two vessels viz MT Keefan and Maersk Alaska with HSD oil and containers due to arrive on Wednesday, while another ship CV MSC Socotra with containers is due to arrive on Thursday.
