Upward trend persisted on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Thursday as most of the buyers increased buying on anticipation that present trend might continue in the prices in the coming days, dealers said. The May vaida commenced unchanged at Rs 441.50. Later, it picked up rupees two to be day's best at Rs 443.50. In the process of trading, it lost rupee one to be day's lowest at Rs 442.50 and closing was seen at the same level, they added. The July vaida opened with sharp gain at Rs 430.90. During the day, it gained 60 paisa to be day's best at Rs 431.50.
In the process of trading, it lost Rs 1.80 to be day's lowest at Rs 429.70 and market settled at Rs 430.10.
