Saudi Pak Commercial Bank President and CEO Mansoor M. Khan has said that network of bank branches would be expanded to 100 till 2007, while the number of branches would be expanded to 50 by the year end. Talking to newsmen on Wednesday after inauguration of new premises of Bahawalpur branch by former Pakistan's Hockey Olympian, he said the SPCBL is financing the agriculture sector, auto mobiles leasing, and house building. To a question, he said that Saudi Arab has invested 50 percent capital in this bank, and it was providing loans for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on soft-terms and conditions.
Earlier, addressing the inaugural ceremony, Mansoor Khan said the Bank possesses an unwavering position among the banking industry, and is one of the strongest groups in private banking sector.
He said the Saudi Pak Commercial Bank is playing a vital role in providing exports and imports facilities to all sectors. He was optimistic that new branch of Bahawalpur would endeavour to provide all types of banking facilities and services to customers and executive business class.
Earlier, he met the businessmen, traders, industrialists, exporters, and elite of the area.
He enlightened the people that SPCBL is devising the strategy to provide the financial facilities to the people attached with the agricultural sector very soon. Because the basic motive of our bank is to accommodate and facilitate the business class and the agricultural sector in order to enhance the overall economic activity.
Fazal Ahmed Shaikh and Fawad Ahmed Shaikh of Fatima Group hosted a dinner in Mansoor's honour which was also attended by Malik Shahid Mehmood EVP, Afzaal Ahmed Khan SVP.
A reception was also hosted in his honour on Wednesday by Colony Textile Mills CEO Mian Fareed Mughis A. Shaikh. The SPCBL president spent an eventful day in Multan after his arrival from Bahawalpur.
