Musharraf lauds CDGK for setting up KIHD

President General Pervez Musharraf has lauded efforts of City District Government of Karachi (CDGK) for setting up Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD), to be inaugurated in first week of June, 2005 in FB Area, Karachi. The President in his message sent to the CDGK on Wednesday greeted the Karachi City government on establishment of the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases. "It is indeed living proof of efficacy of local government system as their endeavours are aimed at resolving public issues and civic problems," the message added.
Extending his heartiest felicitations to the people of Karachi for having such an important institute in a centrally located area of the city, he said he was glad that a new hospital for treatment of cardiovascular diseases had come up in Karachi.
Pervez Musharraf hoped that the experienced staff and doctors would do their utmost to serve people with dedication and devotion. "With 120 beds, complemented with latest medical equipment, emergency, CCU and laboratory facilities, I am confident that the hospital would emerge as an excellent medical institution serving people of Karachi", he added.
