The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Pakistan has gained European Union (EU) funding under the Small Projects Funding (SPF) to carry out a major project which would highlight the importance of sustainable business practices to the country's business community. The project is aimed at leaders of the business community representing small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), listed and unlisted enterprises across all industrial sectors, trade association, non governmental organisations and citizen group from Pakistan.
ACCA, which has campaigned on sustainability issues for more than a decade, will undertake initial research into the scope and extent of sustainability reporting in Pakistan.-PR
