BWA donates books to Liaquat Library

Hundreds of books, including several reference books, donated by the British Women's Association (BWA) were added to the Liaquat Memorial Library in Karachi in a ceremony at the premises of the Liaquat Memorial Library. Several luminaries, including Federal Minister Mahmud Ali attended the ceremony. The donation of books was made on behalf of the BWA by Chairman and Vice Chairman Madam Nilofer Ghani and Madam Milly Stoney. Mahfoozun Nabi Khan and Ashraf Liaquat Ali Khan were also present on the occasion.
Mahmud Ali while thanking the BWA for the donation said that books are the best medium of transferring knowledge and ideas and, thus, play an important role in the promotion of literacy and education.
