Yaseen Malik to lead JKLF team to Pakistan

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik on Thursday said he would lead his party's delegation to Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir on June 2. "A high-profile delegation of JKLF, including members from the US, Canada and the Middle East, will be going to Islamabad on June 2," Malik told reporters after a meeting of the party in the occupied Kashmir. During the visit, the party would make a "strong bid for involvement of legitimate representatives of Kashmiris in the ongoing peace process between India and Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir issue," Malik maintained.
Meanwhile, a faction of the Hurriyat Conference, led by Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, on Thursday announced the names of a five-member delegation to visit Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir on June 2, sources in the amalgam were quoted as saying.
The delegation to be led by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq will include executive committee members - Abdul Gani Bhat, Maulana Abbass Ansari, Bilal Gani Lone and Fazal Haq Qureshi, the sources added.
