A senior member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has sent a legal notice to chief editor, Washington Times, asking him to publish an apology in his newspaper for publishing a cartoon, which insults the Pakistani nation and Pakistan. He has also demanded 500 million dollars as damages to be paid within a month. M.D. Tahir contended that the cartoon in question has hurt the sentiments of the whole Pakistani nation.
It has been mentioned in the notice that this irresponsible act is an insult to a peaceful nation, in the eyes of the whole world.
