Indian jurists team due on June 8

A 30-member delegation comprising judges, lawyers, parliamentarians and journalists is scheduled to undertake a trip to Pakistan next week on a 10-day goodwill mission. The visit is organised by Indian Council of Jurists and All India Bar Association (AIBA) and the delegates will reach Pakistan on June 8.
During the stay, the delegation will visit Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore Murree and Sialkot, said delegation convenor and AIBA Chairman Adish C Aggarwala.
The delegation would call on the Pakistan Chief Justice, and would also hold meetings with the judges of the Supreme court and High courts, Federal Law Minister, Provincial Law Ministers, Members of Pakistan Bar Council, Bar Councils of Punjab and Sindh and Bar Associations of Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Hyderabad and Peshawar, said an AIBA news release.
The delegates include, UP Advocate General Virendra Bhattia; UP Law Commission chairman Justice Vishnu Sahai; Justice (retd) DS Towatia, former Calcutta Chief Justice; Indian Council of Jurists vice-president Justice A.N. Divecha; member of parliament Dharmedar Yadev; UP additional advocate general Vinod Kumar Singh; Supreme Court Bar Association Secretary Pareena Swarup; Allahbad HCBA President Chotte Lal, AIBA General Secretary Jatan Singh, Praveen Balvada, Rajasthan State Bar Association Chairman Pratab State Bar Association GS Singh Haryana and HCBA Gujarat vice-president Ygoesh Lakhani.
