Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon to be sighted on June 8

The Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon will not be sighted today (Tuesday). Jamadi-ul-Awwal One, 1426 AH, therefore, should fall on Thursday, according to astronomical parameters. The moon crossed the conjunction line at 0255 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) today (Tuesday). The time of sunset is 1920 PST, and the time of evening civil twilight (ECTL) is 1946 PST. The moon will set at 2003 PST.
Thus the age of the new moon will be 16 hours and 51 minutes at ECTL. It will set 43 minutes after sunset and 17 minutes after ECTL.
At the time of ECTL the moon will be at an altitude of two degrees and 56 minutes and at an azimuth of 299 degrees and 31 minutes.
Therefore, there is no chance of sighting the Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon today.
