Firm trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Saturday as prices maintained their overnight levels in process of trading, dealers said. The July vaida commenced with modest loss of 60 paisa to Rs 438.20. In the process of trading, it picked up Rs 1.90 to be day's best at Rs 440.10. Later, it lost Rs 2.10 to be day's bottom at Rs 438.00 and closing was seen at Rs 439.40, they added.
The December vaida opened unchanged at 417.80 which prove to be day's lowest at the same level. Later, it gained rupee one to be day's highest at Rs 418.80 and market settled at Rs 418.00,they said.
