Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 58,924 tonnes of cargo including 34,433 tonnes import and 24,491 tonnes export cargo including 2,767 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday. The cargo comprised of 52,404 tonnes dry cargo including 35,604 tonnes general cargo; 680 tonnes cement rice; 8,330 tonnes coal; 3,200 tonnes rock phosphate; 4,590 tonnes fertiliser and 6,520 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Thor Sea, Sagamore, Y M Faha, Sinar Bontang and Lady Jasmine sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Wan Hai-262, Sagamore, Anarita and Pacific Express are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Wan Hai-262 and Jouviality expected to sail on Saturday, while two vessels viz Heng Tai and Iran Baabaei are expected to sail on Sunday.
Four vessels viz MT Shalamar, Global Prince, Nefeli-1 and Badulu Valley due to arrive on Saturday, while two ships namely Vanda Naree and Arhimidis SB are due to arrive on Sunday.
Three ships namely Pu He, Argonaaut and Iran Sattari are due to arrive on Monday.

The cargo comprised of 35,678 tonnes diesel oil; 4,710 tonnes edible oil; 940 tonnes rice; 6,340 tonnes seeds and 28,713 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely MV Stoikos, MT Nolowati and Norasia Everest sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of three vessels viz Viscaya, Athena Sea and Min Noble are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely MV Min Noble, MT Viscaya and Bermudian Express due to take berths on Saturday.
Four vessels viz CV Camilla Rickmers, Great Well, Southern Unicorn and Yanaseni with containers, chemicals and iron ore due to arrive on Sunday.
