Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 110,467 tonnes of cargo including 74,570 tonnes import and 35,897 tonnes export cargo including 756 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 30,065 tonnes dry cargo including 13,750 tonnes general cargo; 5,700 tonnes coal; 2,400 tonnes rock phosphate; 8,215 tonnes fertiliser and 80,402 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo. Six ships namely Iran Baabaie, Global Prince, Nefeli-1, Pacific Express, Banglar Doot and Banglar Gourab sailed out to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Banglar Gourab, Arhimidis SB and Badulu Valley are currently at the berths.
MV Pu He is expected to sail on Tuesday.
Five vessels viz Lauren, Rea, Pu He, Kapitan Tsirul and Vanda Naree due to arrive on Monday, while seven ships namely Stolt Markland, Minsa, Kota Tampan, Eax Sanctity, Apl Jeddah, Thor Captain and Panormos Pride are due to arrive on Tuesday.

The cargo comprised of 9,432 tonnes edible oil; 610 tonnes rice; 5,778 tonnes seeds; 9,400 tonnes chemicals; 16,270 tonnes iron ore and 32,164 tonnes containerised cargo.
Container vessel Camilla Rickmers sailed out to sea on Monday morning, while three more ships namely CV MSC Dehli, MT Viscaya and MT Southern Unicorn are expected to sail on the same day.
A total of three vessels viz Athena Sea, Yanaseni and Great Well are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely Sealand Express and Yanaseni due to take berths on Monday.
