Ashfaq named Pracs managing director

The Divisional Superintendent Railway, Rawalpindi Division, Mohammed Ashfaq Khattak has been appointed as Managing Director, Pakistan Railway Advisory and Consultancy Services (Pracs), a government owned public limited company with immediate effect. He replaces Imam Din Bhatti, who has been transferred to Railway Headquarters Lahore, as Chief Engineer Survey and Construction.
Khattak, who served as DS Railway, Rawalpindi Division for over three-and-a-half years has rich experience in commercial and train operation.
Earlier, he had worked as Deputy Divisional Superintendent Railway (Operation) Karachi Division and has experience in Port working.
While working as DS Railway Rawalpindi, Ashfaq Khattak brought far-reaching improvements, which made Rawalpindi a model railway division of Pakistan.
With brilliant academic record of having Master's degree from Harvard University USA Ashfaq Khattak is expected to usher Pracs into a new era of progress by introducing revolutionary reforms in this public limited company.
Pracs is currently managing reservation and inquiry offices in major cities of the country. In Karachi alone it has five reservation offices at Awami Markaz, Airport, Keamari, Site and Malir.
