US MIDDAY: soybeans lower

Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures turned lower past midday on Thursday amid easing worries that next week's weather may not be as hot as expected, traders said. New-crop November soy was down 3-3/4 cents per bushel at $7.17 by 12:17 pm CDT, after making a contract high of $7.30 in overnight e-cbot trade.
