Car bomb injures six in Sofia

A bomb exploded under a car in a suburb of Bulgaria's capital on Thursday injuring six people in what officials indicated was an apparent organised crime hit. A 76-year-old woman passer-by was among those hurt. "Six people were injured today in an explosion in a parking lot behind a block of flats," the Bulgarian Interior Ministry said in a statement.
"Among the injured, there are people with criminal records," it added, using a form of words usually meant to indicate a clash between organised crime gangs.
