River Kabul rises to dangerous levels

River Kabul has risen to dangerous levels in different parts of the NWFP, especially at Nowshera, where the discharge is over 0.1 million cusecs. The rise in River Kabul is attributed to widespread rains in the catchment areas in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
According to various officials and private TV channels, the district administration in all the areas near River Kabul have been informed about the dangerous water level.
