The Punjab government has given possession of over 667 acres of land to Punjab Industrial Estate (PIE) Development and Management Company for developing Multan Industrial Estate Phase-II. According to a spokesman of the company, Multan's Industrial Phase II is adjacent to Industrial Estate Phase-I.
It would also have sewerage treatment plant to assist the industrialists to comply with the environmental standards set by the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
Rizwan Ullah Baig, Director Industries, Punjab and Chairman PIE Mohsin Syed signed the agreement deed, in this regard, at a simple ceremony here on Friday.
After the agreement signing ceremony, Chairman PIE, Mohsin Syed said that a blue print for development of second phase of Industrial Estate Multan would be prepared during next four weeks.
