Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) head and leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly, Qasim Zia, has criticised the rise in gas and petrol prices. Terming the increase as mini budget, Qasim said this speaks volume of claimed success of the economic policies of the present government. He said the enhancement in prices of fuel and gas while having a multiple effect would result in increase of prices of other commodities.
The PPPP leader posed question that where were the good results of measures taken for boosting agriculture economy when prices of vegetables had gone beyond the reach of common people.
