People Lawyer's Forum (PLF) has announced to observe 'Black Day' on July 5 by holding seminars and protest rallies to register protest against the conviction of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The decision was taken in a meeting of the forum held with its president Tanvir Ahmed Hashmi in the chair, here on Saturday. Among others, Mian Sarfrazul Hassan, Malik Saeed Hassan, Kazim Khan, Iftikhar Shahid and Mian Hanif Tahir addressed the meeting.
They said that military in Pakistan had damaged the democratic institutions, as the dictators always used undemocratic tactics to weaken the democratic institutions in the country. They said that democratic people and representatives of people of Pakistan would continue their struggle for revival of constitution, strengthening of democracy and for the protection of fundamental rights of people of Pakistan.
