Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 99,086 tonnes of cargo including 90,755 tonnes import and 8,331 tonnes export cargo including 1,831 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 44,176 tonnes dry cargo including 27,934 tonnes general cargo; 1,435 tonnes cement; 6,008 tonnes iron scrape coal; 8,799 tonnes fertiliser and 54,910 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Troy Burg, Parsian, Lalazar, Yanaseni, Fairchem Unicorn and Stolt Vision sailed out to sea during the report period.
Seven vessels viz Ever Guard, Yukushima, Rickmers Chennai, FT Fu Yuan-21, Bunga Melati-3, Yanaseni and MT Shalamar are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Lami, Bunga Melati-3, Manila Bay and Rickmers Chennai expected to sail on Tuesday, while another ship MT Shalamar is expected to sail on Wednesday.
Five vessels viz Eax Sanctity, Thor Captain, Global Princess, FT Xin Shi-2 and Captain Adham due to arrive on Tuesday, while eight ships namely Rising One, Orient Prosperity, Canmar Success, YM Fortune, Hyundai Sprinter, Kota Teraju, Neeba Naree and Butet are due to arrive on Wednesday.

The cargo comprised of 2,312 tonnes diesel oil; 11,317 tonnes iron ore and 10,557 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely CV Denderah Rickmers and MT Keefan sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of three vessels viz Sealand Freedom, Nemea and Anette Kosan are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely CV Sealand Freedom, Saudi Tabuk and MT Anette Kosan due to take berths on Tuesday.
MT Fotini Lady with diesel oil due to arrive on Tuesday, while two more ships namely CV Contship Indigo and Asian Gyro with containers are due to arrive on Wednesday.
