The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) on Sunday staged a demo here in front of Karachi Press Club against target killings of political and religious leaders, and hike in prices of oil, gas and daily-use items. Protestors, carrying placards and banners, chanted slogans against rising prices and worsening law and order.
The protesters, including Hassan Turabi, Muhammad Hussain Mehnati, Khan Muhammad, Qazi Ahmed Noorani and others, held the provincial government and governor responsible for the grim situation.
