US cocoa futures prices ended firmer Tuesday, extending the previous session's gains on follow-through speculative buying amid a weakening dollar, traders said. The New York Board of Trade's most-active September cocoa contract concluded $6 higher at $1,412 a tonne, but near the bottom of a trading range from $1,411 to $1,428.
December likewise rose $6 to $1,445 a tonne, while back month contracts advanced $6 to $7.
