US tennis icons Venus and Serena Williams are set to give the public a sneak peek into their private world as they become the latest celebrities to star in their own reality television show.
The sisters are the main attractions of "Venus and Serena: For Real" which premieres on American ABC Family television on Wednesday, the network announced. "Venus and Serena take you off the court and into their private lives for an up-close and personal look at who they really are," the channel boasted on its website.
"There's more to their lives than tennis, a lot more," the station promised, adding that viewers would see the famous siblings "like you never have before." The 25-year-old Venus, currently ranked ninth in the world, has won five grand slam tournaments, including the Wimbledon women's finals on July 2. Her sister Serena, 23, has brought home seven grand slam titles. The sisters join a growing list of celebrities who are keen to expose their private lives in the living rooms of viewers across the world.
They follow in the footsteps of "The Osbournes," former Playboy pin-up Anna Nicole Smith and more recently Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline, as well as Bobby Brown, the husband of diva Whitney Houston.
